Using DakClassroom and their video board display systems, Asheboro High School students and faculty have expressed their enjoyment and affinity to their video boards and all the great exposure to different technologies and editing capabilities. Some students have even said that how much they have enjoyed the DakClassroon curriculum has led them to ideas of feature careers.
Students Take on Responsibility
With the students in control of selling the advertisements that go on the board, faculty expressed how impressed they are with how the students have handled the responsibility and how quickly they have been able to learn and adapt to software like FrameWrx to create the advertisements. Dr. Ryan Moodt, the principal of Asheboro stated
The kids actually go out and sell the ads now and they also create the content that goes on the boards and on game days they actually run the boards themselves. Its all apart of the course and really makes it self-sustaining.
The Community in Support of Asheboro
Not only do the faculty and students value their use of DakClassroom, FrameWrx, and video board displays, but the community has expressed how valuable they think the new curriculum is. One local business owner, Art Martinez, expressed how he finds the new curriculum and exposer to editing, new software, and sales that students are receiving is important for their futures. He said
It’s worth the investment. There is no doubt you are investing in the school and the kids.
