How do I access the free media from buy.daktronics.com?

Choose from the options below to Access Free Media from buy.daktronics.com.

Option 1: Access free Social Media content from email.

1. Open email received from Daktronics, titled: Free Social Media Content for Your Display
2. Click Get Your FREE Content button from within the email you received.
   • This should open directly to the Free Social Media page in your Web Browser. If not, please follow directions in Option 2. 

Option 2: Access Free Social Media and other Free content from http://buy.daktronics.com 

1. Go to http://buy.daktronics.com.
2. Under Products, click Content Packages.
   1. If you have an RGB Colored display, click All Full-Color.
   2. If you have a Monochrome (Amber or Red) display, click All Monochrome.
   3. Don't know your display size? If you are using Venus 1500 open Content Studio and create a new presentation.  The display size will show in the bottom left corner. If you are using Venus Control Suite go to Media, click on the drop down menu and choose New Web Presentation. Start a new Web Presentation and you can see your size in the drop down menu. 
3. You can then browse through any of our available Content Packages by clicking the Name.
   • All the Free Content Packages are titled as: Social Media, Charitable Offerings, Canadian Charitable Offerings, Canadian Flag.
     • Once the desired content package name is clicked, you will see the package is free when price is listed as FREE!.

Follow the steps below to complete your transaction and import new content.

Step 1: Select the Content Package, add to Cart and Check Out.

1. Click Buy Animations Package or Buy Stills Package.
   • You can repeat next steps you want to obtain both packages.
2. Replace the 0 with a 1 next to your correct display size.
   • To locate your display size, launch Content Studio and in the bottom left it will show.
   • If your size is not shown please follow How do I purchase a content catalog for my display?, D2224159.
3. Click Add to Cart.
   • Click Continue Shopping if you need to add more packages to your cart.
   • You can always click Shopping Cart in the top right of the website to view your cart at any time.
4. Within your Shopping Cart you will see how many items you have in your cart.
   • If only purchasing free packages the amount should say Total   $0.00.
5. Click Proceed to Checkout when you have completed shopping.
6. Existing customers, click Log in to your account and processed with checkout. 
7. New customers fill in your Billing Information and Shipping Information for all required fields.
   • If Shipping Information is the same as your Billing Information select the Check Box next to Same as Billing
   • Enter in a password for Create New Account. (It is required to create an account)
8. Once the Shipping Information has been filled out Shipping Method will be changed to Delivery Via Email.
9. After everything on this page has been filled out select Check Out.
10. You will be directed to an Invoice page, and then you will receive an automatic email shortly.
