Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union Adds LED Video Feature From Daktronics
About Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Apr. 19, 2017 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union (FCU) to provide a new LED video feature to the credit union's high-traffic location on South Louise Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The display was installed this spring to bring advertising and messaging opportunities to a prime location within the city.
"As our new branch is located on one of the busiest roads in South Dakota, we searched for innovative ways to advertise our credit union difference," stated Fran Sommerfeld, President/CEO of Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union. "We are pleased that our search led to our partnership with Daktronics, a local industry leader. Our new LED Video Feature will make a big impact with the visual presentation."
The display is positioned inside the building and faces out through the glass to the roadway. It measures approximately 8.5 feet high by 16 feet wide and features a tight 6-millimeter line spacing to bring excellent image clarity and contrast to the messages being shown to passersby. The technology features superior brightness to combat direct sunlight while still providing crisp, clear imagery.
"It was great to work with Sioux Falls FCU on this installation to bring messages to their building," said Marty Gregor, Daktronics sales representative. "This project is a great example of multiple different ways that Daktronics can implement LED technology to meet the needs of our customer as we were able to mount the display behind the glass store-front style windows to show their messages to people passing by. It will have a noticeable impact for the credit union."
The display is powered by Daktronics Venus Control Suite, software that combines functionality with ease of use to schedule and manage content.
Daktronics LED video and messaging display technology offers a long lifetime with consistent, industry-leading performance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.
Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1934 and currently serves anyone who lives or works in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook and Turner counties of South Dakota. The not-for-profit cooperative has over 27,000 members with six Sioux Falls locations.
