Idaho State Upgrades Video Board Experience at Campus Venues with Daktronics
The ICCU Dome, Miller Ranch Stadium and Reed Gym feature new LED technology in past year of projects
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Nov. 7, 2024 – Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with Idaho State University to design, manufacture and install LED display systems for the Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) Dome, Miller Ranch Stadium and Reed Gym on campus in Pocatello, Idaho. System upgrades began in December 2023 at Reed Gym and continued with Miller Ranch Stadium in April 2024 and concluded with the ICCU Dome in August 2024. In total, the LED displays deliver more than four million pixels to inform and entertain fans at live events on campus.
“The board inside the ICCU Dome is the largest inside any venue that we have and one of the largest in the Big Sky Conference, and it has already made a significant impact on driving fan engagement and sponsorship revenue,” said Idaho State Director of Athletics Pauline Thiros. “The dynamic environment it creates on game day is making our competition venue even better and positively affecting the fan and student-athlete experience. It, along with the new video boards inside Reed Gym and at Direct Communications Field at Miller Ranch Stadium, are great improvements and we are truly grateful for them!”
