DakStats Baseball: Not getting updated line score and baseball stats after closing and reopening a game

Potential Symptoms

  • Not getting updated line score and baseball stats after closing and reopening a game in DakStats Baseball
  • Stats were previously updating, but after closing a DakStats Baseball game to make edits, they are no longer updating
  • DSTI widget in Display Studio shows a gray status

Environment

Cause

  • DSTI software closed automatically when closing the DakStats Baseball game. DSTI Software was not re-opened after opening up the game again after making changes. This stops all data communication, including data from the All Sport controller.

Resolution

  • Re-open DSTI software

To prevent reoccurrence: Set DakStats Baseball to automatically open DSTI if a game is started

  1. Open DakStats Baseball
  2. Select Configure
  3. Check Auto Start Interface
