Steps

Adflow media players can potentially be one of three major version releases (Player Versions):

  • Player 1 (P1)
  • Player 2 (P2)
  • Player 10 (P10)

Methods of identifying Player Version:

Player 1

Folder structure

The P1 software resides in both "C:\ADFLOW" as well as "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)"

Windows Registry "Shell" command

Location: HKey_Current_User\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell

"C:\Program Files (x86)\ADFLOW Networks\Process Monitor App\Process Monitor App.exe"



Player 2

Methods of differentiating between P2 and P10:

Executable file naming convention in C:\ADFLOW\bin folder

Player 2

The term "DMS" is included in the file name, ie. Adflow.DMS.*

The term "DMS" is not included in the file name, ie. Adflow.*

Playback log version number on software load

Open a PlaybackManager log file from "C:\ADFLOW\logs"

Note: you must locate the point in the log in which the player software first loads (tip: search for keyword "version")
