Venus Accounts: How do I create an account in Venus Control Suite?

Use Accounts to create accounts for specific advertisers or display owners.
  • Advertiser accounts allow display owners to associate playlists with an advertiser or to associate a media file with the account to run a proof of play report for an advertiser.
  • Display owner accounts manage specific displays, media, scheduling, and other accounts.

Steps

  1. Log in to Venus Control Suite at https://venus.daktronics.com.
  2. Select the Venus App. 
  3. From the left side menu, select accounts. 
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Enter the name of the organization/advertiser in the Account Name, leave Account Type as Advertiser, and click Save.
New accounts may also be created when uploading a new media file in the Media Library or when adding a new sales item in the Sales menu.


Option 2- Sales Page

  1. Log into Venus Control Suite and access the Scheduling App. See: Venus Control Suite: How do I log in?
  2. Select the Sales icon from the left menu in Venus Control Suite.
  3. Select the Create Sale button. 
  4. Select New Sale Association field and choose Add New from the drop-down menu.

Enter the name of the organization/advertiser in the Account Name, leave Account Type as Advertiser, and click Save.
