NovaStar: How to configure a DIS-300 splitter with Sender Box

  • How to config DIS-300 splitter with NovaStar Sender Box

Environment

  • Product: Nova MCTRL 600, Nova MCTRL 660, NovaStar VX4S, NovaStar brand sender box and receiver  cards
  • Components: NovaLCT-Mars, DIS-300 splitter
  • Control System: Market Standard or Limited Compliance using transmit common/open protocol
    • This includes but not limited to DVN-4003, Dragon Sticks, J Series, JVX, U Series, Q Series, QVN, Z Series, and ZPN.

Steps

  1. Open NovaLCT-Mars Software and login, click Screen Configuration and then go to 3rd tab :Screen Connection.
  2. Once the splitter is connected and communicating, you will be able to see Connect to deconcentrator with a check box in the front.Splitter.jpg
    1. Make sure Connect to deconcentrator option is checked and then click Config, you will be able to see the option Internet access of deconcentrator.
      • Port A is used for input and split to eight ports (A1-A8). In Internet Access Model, choose One, then click OK. you will see config below:

      • Both Port A and B can be used to split to eight ports, each port split to four (A1-A4, B1-B4) , In Internet Access Model choose Two, and then click OK.  You will see the config below:

  3. Follow the wire connection on the screen and draw TT, save settings and then close when done. See :How do I configure a NovaLCT-Mars Sender Box?
