Venus Control Suite: I did not get the Venus password reset email

Potential Symptoms

  • I never received the email to reset my VCS password. 

Environment

  • Product: Venus Basic, Venus Select, Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Components: password recovery
  • Control System: Venus Cloud-Based

Cause

  • The Venus Password Reset email is lost in a spam, or junk folder.

Resolution

  1. If you do not see this email in your inbox, check your spam, junk, or bulk email folders. 
  2. "Reset Password" will not be a clickable link until you move the email to your inbox. 
  3. If you still do not see this email, click Resend Email to reenter the email and send again. 
  4. Note: If users browser is auto-filling in the email address on the reset page--> Be sure to delete the auto-fill and manually type in the email address.
