FinishLynx data not displaying correctly

Potential Symptoms

  • FinishLynx data on pre-made content not displaying correctly.
  • FinishLynx data is showing on the matrix display, however, not lined up.
  • FinishLynx data is showing on the matrix display, however, is not placed correctly.

Environment

  • Product Family:  Integration
  • Product:  Track and Field
  • Component:  DVX, DVN, DVXMC, DVNMC, Galaxy
  • Control System:  FinishLynx, DMP-8000, Display Studio 

Cause


This pair does not match:
  • Content made with Profile: Track and Field: FinishLynx with data source pairs FinishLynx-Extended-Runtime.did and FinishLynx-Extended-Results.did.
  • AND; FinishLynx output is set for Dak.lss script.  In FinishLynx:  Scoreboard Menu > Options... > Scoreboard Tab Script: Dak.lss
If the above Profile/FinishLynx output pair is not the same as you are seeing, review KB: DD3909018 for a possible similar symptom.

 

Resolution

  • Download and place this Dak-Extended.lss Download script file into the FinishLynx computer's "C:\Lynx" folder.  A later release from FinishLynx will include Dak-Extended.lss.
  • Click Scoreboard Menu > Options... > Scoreboard Tab > Click drop down for Script and select Dak-Extended.lss.
  • Close FinishLynx software and reopen.  (Any settings changes requires the software be restarted to take effect.)
  • Test content.

For Temporary Operation

  • If unable to load Dak-Extended.lss script file onto the FinishLynx computer.
  • Remake content with Profile:  "Track and Field" with data source pairs Lynx-Capture-Runtime.did, Lynx-Capture-Results.did, and Lynx-Edit-Results.did.  Continue to use Dak.lss script in FinishLynx.
