FLR3-1500 unable to change prices, Detecting extra radio network

Potential Symptoms

  • FL-3000/FL-4500 using FLR3-1500 serial radios unable to change prices on any display in the serial radio network.
  • DM-100 detects 1 or more networks than it should detect.
    • When trying to detect displays on the extra network(s), DM-100 will show ERROR - DISPLAY DNR CMND 05 COM ERR.

Cause

  • Server radio detecting an additional client not part of the network, and the DM-100 cannot address the drivers which prevents changing the price on all displays.

Resolution

    1. Change server and client radios to a different channel.
    2. Reboot all displays, then the DM-100 and verify it only detects the correct amount of networks.
