DSTI: How do I update

  • How do I update my DSTI?

Environment

Steps

 Update Procedure

  1.    Locate computer(s) where the DSTI will be updated.
    1. Traditionally this will be on the DSTI-P and DSTI-B machines.
    2. Close down any open DSTI applications.
    3. Click on the installer: Dakfiles | Sports Products | DSTI
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions to Install DSTI.
    5. Go to Start > All Programs > Daktronics > DSTI > DSTI to open DSTI.
    6. Confirm new version.  See the Help menu> About for current version of the software.
  2. Repeat the above steps on the Backup DSTI.
  3. No annual license is needed for DSTI. 

Backup Procedure

If using triggers (data automation), follow the steps below to collect the trigger files.
  1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\Common\Triggering
    1. Grab all files in the folder for submittal/ external backup.
    2. Save a local copy to C:\Tools.
