Steps

  1. Verify the PFL active light under the signal meter is not illuminated
    • If illuminated, check that all grey PFL buttons are in the out position

  2. Turn down the fader for the channel being set
  3. Press the grey PFL button for the channel being set
  4. Play the audio source or talk in to the microphone for the channel
  5. Adjust the red GAIN knob until the signal meter averages at the 0 LED

    • For media sources, play different files/tracks and/or different parts of files/tracks so that the gain isn't set too high because of a track with a low volume intro
  6. Press the grey PFL button so it is back in the out position.
  7. Bring the fader up to the desired volume level.
  8. Repeat for any other channels that need to be set.
