Topic

  • How do I use HiQnet NetSetter

Environment

  • Product Family: Audio Systems
  • Product: Custom Audio
  • Components: Harman (Crown, BSS) Based Systems
  • Control System: Audio Architect, System Architect, London Architect, Performance Manager

Steps

NetSetter is automatically installed with Audio Architect and Performance Manager and can be found in their folders in the Start Menu or accessed from inside the software

For System Architect and London Architect, NetSetter must be downloaded at: https://audioarchitect.harmanpro.com/en-US/softwares/hiqnet-audio-architect-v2-25-1-windows-7-sp1-8-1-10

  1. Launch NetSetter
  2. Verify the correct PC Adapter is set using the dropdown.
  3. Devices should start populating the screen,
    1. Note: The device with the DEVICE TYPE labeled Audio Architect is the computer and no settings need to be changed on it in NetSetter
  4. Verify the number of devices matches the number of devices in your DSP file(s) + 1 (for your computer)
  5. Check the DSP File for Device IDs so that they can be verified or changed in NetSetter
  6. Generally Static IPs are used.  Make sure all devices have an IP in the same range and fix any that aren't.  Generally the last octet is set so that it and the Device ID match for each device.  Also make sure subnet masks all match
  7. Click Apply Current Edits to apply any changes that were made and close the software.
