Sports Wire 4000: New teams missing, for MLB / MiLB leagues

Potential Symptoms

  • New teams were added at the beginning of the season, in MiLB or MLB leagues. Schedule shows the opponent team, but the new teams are blank in the schedule.

Cause

  • Database in Sports Wire has not yet been updated with new team names

Resolution

  • Click on Driver Configurations

  • Click on Teams tab, choose the League the new teams are associated with. The new teams should appear similar to as shown below, but with different team abbreviations, depending on the team name

  • Edit the location, short name, long name and nickname as needed.

  • Click on Apply and then on OK. Click on the Sports Wire icon on top left of the window, click on Backup Sports Wire 4000 Configuration, to save the settings. Close out of Sports Wire and open it back.

  • Once the above steps have been completed, the new team names should show up in the Schedule
