Steps

  1. Remove the 8 screws anchoring the latch assembly to the mod.
  2. Remove any broken pieces of the latch from the mod.
  3. Install the new latch assembly
  4. Re-install the 8 screws to secure the latch assembly to the mod, be careful not to overtighten.
    • Lightly turning the screw counter-clockwise in mounting hole prior to tightening will allow you to find the original thread pattern.
    • If possible, re-use the original screws when replacing the latches.
