Content Studio: How to resize an image to fit inside my content?

Steps

  1. Insert the image desired, in the import window click on Options.
  2. Select the appropriate import mode.
    • Best fit: the aspect ratio is preserved when the element is resized.
    • Stretch: the aspect ratio is not preserved when the element is resized.
    • Normal: the image's aspect ratio and size are preserved. If the element is smaller than the image, the right and bottom sides are cropped.
  3. After importing, the element will have green dashed box, click on one of the green squares and drag in to reduce the image size on the layout.
  4. If too much detail is lost, try to resize the image outside of Content Studio by following, How do I resize an image using Pixlr X?
