Galaxy display using a RS-422 system is Receiving a "Synchronize Time Zone Unsupported Command" Alert in Venus 1500 v4
Potential Symptoms
- Receiving Synchronize Time Zone Unsupported Command alert in Venus 1500 v4.
- Unable to communicate with display.
- When trying to connect in M2Config, it connects but does not retrieve all of the information properly.
- When performing loopback testing on the RS-422 system all test points pass.
- Loopback test will pass on the output of the surge card with only 1 jumper being utilized.

Cause
- Failed surge card (possible short within card) in RS-422 system.
Resolution
- Replace surge card.
