Steps
Note: These steps will not remove the database. Do not uninstall or delete any SQL files.
Note: Please make sure before attempting steps to have the highest admin access on the computer.
Note: It is recommended to create a database backup prior to uninstalling Venus software.
Follow - How do I use the Nucleus Server Database utility to transfer or save a database?
- Uninstall programs from Control Panel>Programs and Features.
- Uninstall Daktronics Data Server.
- Uninstall Daktronics Fusion.
- Uninstall Venus 1500 V4.
- Delete any remaining .config files if still present (these files may have already been removed during uninstall of components above):
- Note: If there are no other Daktronics Programs installed or in use, deleting the Daktronics folders located in C:\Program Files (x86) and C:\ProgramData can be completed.
- Windows 32 Bit:
- C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Nucleus Server\Nucleus Server.exe.config.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\Venus 1500 V4\Venus1500.exe.config.
- C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Content Studio\ContentStudio.exe.config.
- C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Venus 1500 V4\mediakit.exe.congfig.
- Windows 64 Bit:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\Nucleus Server\Nucleus Server.exe.config.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\Venus 1500 V4\Venus1500.exe.config.
