Venus 1500 V3, Default Folder Empty, or Database is Missing error.

Potential Symptoms

  • No presentations are in default folder, database is empty.
  • Getting error "database is missing" when trying to open a message listed under File (history).
  • Able to create a new message.

Environment

  • Venus 1500 V3.5
  • Windows XP, & 7 64 Bit

Cause

  • Unknown

Resolution

  1. Go to Display Manager (Computer Lighting Bolt).

  2. Select Display and click Get Status.

  3. Select Message Control View.

  4. Go to Running messages and double click presentation to send to stored messages. 

  5. Hold down the shift button and highlight all Stored Messages , then click publish arrow.

  6. Once all messages are sent out to the display you can Right- Click on the message and Retrieve them back into the default folder.
