DVX: How do I replace air filters in my displays

  • How do I replace or remove air filters for cleaning in my DVX display?

Environment

  • DVX display

Steps

Tools Required:  1/8" T-handle

Instructions:

⚠️Do not remove vent panels from rear of display.  Retaining clips may get damaged and allow vent panel to fall out.
Remove module from front of display at locations where vents are behind module.
  1. Disconnect power to the display.
  2. Use a 1/8" Allen wrench to turn the top and bottom latch release a 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
  3. Pull the module from the display just far enough to reach around to the back of the unit. Attach one end of a safety lanyard to the rings on either the top or bottom of the module and the other end to a secure location within the display to prevent the module from falling if dropped.
  4. Disconnect the power and signal cables from the rear of the module.
Reverse steps 1-4 when ready to reinstall module in display.
