Show Control System, Venus 1500: Can not download the license file attachment, getting warning, this attachment must be saved to disk
Potential Symptoms
- Can not save the license file attachment from the from email.
- When right clicking on the attachment, getting the following message "This Attachment must be saved to disk"
Environment
- Windows XP, Vista or 7 computer
- Customer Email using Exchange 2000 Server for web based email.
Cause
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, Service Pack 2 now prevents the down load of certain file types.
Resolution
- Update to the latest version follow: Venus 1500: How do I update or download the Venus 1500 V4 software?
- Note - If utilizing 56K Dialup communications you will need to utilize Venus V4.19.2
