Environment

  • Product: Venus 1500 Version 4
  • Component: Playlists & Scheduling
  • Control System:

Steps

Playlist #1

  • Ongoing 24/7: Play Continuously (24/7) - Place a check mark next to Play Continuously (24/7) to have the playlist run until 12/31/2037. This will grey out the time/date options.

Playlist #2

  • Ongoing Through: Date and Time Tab - Set the Start and End Date and Times from the arrow menus or type them in using the keyboard. The playlist will start playing at the start date and time, and will play 24/7 until the end date and time.  For a playlist to run 24 hours a day, set the start time to 12:00:00 am and the end time to 11:59:59 pm.

Playlist #3

  • Daily: Recurrence Tab - If messages are scheduled to run for a certain time each day, set the Recurrence Pattern to Weekly after designating the dates and times. The playlist will show on the schedule during the days of the week you check mark.  You can also set the recurrence to monthly and weekly.

Playlist #4

  • Rotate: Play Order Tab - Browse to the message you want to Rotate more frequently than the others.  It will rotate through all playlists according to the count. There can only be one rotating message per time frame.
    • M2/M3 Controllers (Galaxy 3100 - 3700)
      • If you add a rotating message to a playlist, the message will rotate among all playlists.
    • M4 Controllers (Galaxy Pro: GPC, GP3, GP4, DVX)
      • If you add a rotating message to a playlist, the message will ONLY rotate in the playlist it is added to.
