All Sport 5000, Incrementing period and sending period time simultaneously

How do I increment the period and send the period time to scoreboard at the same time?

Resolution

To increment the period and send the period time (e.g. 8 minutes) to the scoreboard simultaneously after a period has ended (i.e. clock has reached 0):
  1. Press the SET MAIN CLOCK button twice so that PERIOD time appears; 8:00 minutes (or other time) should appear in the time if the period time has already been configured in the EDIT SETTINGS menu.
  2. Press the ENTER/YES button to send the period time.  If the clock was at 0, the period should increment automatically.
