Can the VLink 1500 adjust viewable area for 16:9 content?

Potential Symptoms

adjust viewable area for 16:9 content

Environment

  • Product Family: Control System
  • Product: VLink 1500
  • Component: SSL Display, TriCaster
  • Control System:

Resolution

  • The VLink 1500 has an automatic scaling feature that will ONLY replicate the image that is put into it.  The feed coming into the VLink DVI port will come out looking exactly the same, just scaled for overall display dimensions.
  • If you are using a display that is rated for 16:9 you will need to configure the incoming feed to 1280x720 16:9.
    • The content will be letterboxed if the display is not a 16:9 display.
  • You can test the DVI content by connecting the DVI connection to a DVI input on a monitor instead of the VLink 1500.
