There are 3 options, utilizing Venus 1500 control Software:

Option 1: Public IP Method (required with the use of Visiconn)

  • Need a Computer to hook up to the display with a static IP address and M2Config to configure How do I set or change a static IP on my computer or USB to Ethernet adapter? ).
  • You will need a Static Public IP address from the ISP, Internet Modem, and Router.
  • Display will need to be configured with a static IP address to communicate over the router's LAN, Gateway of the Router (Routers IP address), and any provided DNS from the ISP (How do I change a static IP address on a Galaxy display? ).
  • Router will need to forward port 3001 on the IP address assigned to the display.
  • Verify communication over LAN through router with display using the IP address assigned to the display.
  • At remote site, connect using the public IP address given by the ISP.

Option 2: Remote Software

  • With this method, you would need to acquire remote software (e.g. TeamViewer, LogMeIn, Bomgar, etc...) or use a VNC program.
You would then remote into the computer on site that has the Venus 1500 software installed and can communicate to sign.

Note: For this method to work, the computer with software must be left in a power on state and being running the server remote/VNC software.
