Show Control System: How do I control content run time play modes in a script button?
Potential Symptoms
- Continuous or not continuous play in Display Studio.
- Make a file play once instead of repeating
- Show Control's Display Studio quick display buttons
Environment

- Control System: Show Control System (SCS)
Cause
- When button is created and changed to Immediate play in a Quick Display container using default settings, Continuous Mode (green dot) is set by default. Sometimes this is not ideal for the button so you have to manually change this option.
Resolution
- Right-click the Button and choose Properties.
- Click Play mode Icon (looks like a Movie Clap Board)
- Change from Continuous to Number of Times and choose the amount of times to play before moving to the next in queue.
- Click Save.
