Setting up Communications between MyLaps, Orbits, AMB, and All Sport 5100

- Control System: Oval track racing
Steps
- Ensure scoreboard and All Sport console are set up for standard wireless or wired communications.
- Connect the 0A-1196-0181 (9 pin to the 9 pin) cable between the MyLaps computer and port J5 of the All Sport 5100.
- Turn on the All Sport and enter code 0333.
- On the MyLaps computer, determine which COM port the computer is using by checking the device manager.
- Open the MyLaps program. Click Scoreboard on top of the screen and select Scoreboard Settings.
- Under Scoreboard Settings, ensure Enable Scoreboard Feed, send Qualify Results, and Send Race Results are checked.
- In the Serial Port section, select the Port that is connected to the All Sport, set the Baud rate to 9600, Databits to 8, Stopbits to 1, and Parity to None.
- Note: In Orbits version 4, there is a typo that switched the title of Stopbits and Parity around. Don't be alarmed, just select the option that has 1 and the option that has None.

- To test the feed coming from Orbits, click Tools > Simulator. To get data running to the display, you may need to follow: MyLaps Orbits not outputting to an All Sport 5100.
