What are the optimal communication (NIC) settings for Galaxy series displays in a primary-primary configuration using an Adams switch?

  • Component: M2 or M3 Controller, Ethernet Communication with Ethernet Adams Switch

Resolution

All sign controller NICs should be set to Automatic (Auto) in M2config under the NIC portion of the Communications folder.  Follow How to change the NIC settings on a Galaxy controller using the M2Config utility?, D2372767 to find and adjust the NIC settings within M2Config.
  1. Check the box for Automatic
  2. Then go to File and select Set Configuration (or use the blue down arrow). This will reset the display.
  3. Once the display boots up we should have the new settings applied.
