Steps

The following can be used to play audio from a video/audio file without disrupting the current visual playback:

Create a zone within the current Look in Layout Editor.
- Refer to Layout Editor: How do I add zones and create looks?
Make the new zone non-visual or hidden. There are two ways to accomplish this:
Option #1: Send it to the back or bottom of the current zones.
- Drag the zone to the bottom of the list of zones within the Look.
Option #2: Set Opacity to 0%.
- - Adjust the opacity in the properties tab to 0. This will make the zone transparent so the position of the zone within the Look will not matter.
- Note: Both options can be used simultaneously.
Create a button to play from the new zone.

(Optional) Create a blank button specifically for the new zone
- Note: With this setup, the audio can be cleared (stopped, cut short, interrupted) without affecting the video playback.
