FrameWrx: How do I choose the correct template for my content?

Displays come in a multitude of sizes. To accommodate the size differences, templates are available in wide vs standard options. Follow the steps below to determine which option would work best with your display size.

Find your display ratio.
- Determine the pixel height and width of your display: Venus Displays: How do I find the dimensions of my display?
- Compute display height ↕ ÷ display width↔ = ratio
Example
140 ÷ 250 = .56
- Wide Template use display ratios of .4 or less. (These say wide in the template title.)
- Standard templates use ration of .5 or greater. (These do not have wide in the template title.)
Create your project from the appropriate canvas option.

- From the Projects page, click Create, choose Create from Template.
- Locate the desired template from the standard or wide options (determined above). If needed, use the search function or navigate the list of templates via the left side category menu.
- Hover over the template thumbnail and select Choose Custom Size.
- In the Choose Size window, select the following:

- Custom
- Enter your video display's pixel width and height.
- Click Select and Continue.
- This will open the template up in the FrameWrx design editor.
- Minor adjustments might need to be made to the template, so your content displays properly.
