Backlight schedule for LCD

Environment

  • Product: Venus Basic, Venus Select, Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Components: DMP-8122, DWP, Venus Display Control Apps
    • LCD NOTE:  RS-232 LCD Display Control in VCS is only supported on select display models from: LG, Samsung, NEC and ELO purchased from Daktronics.
  • Control System: Venus Cloud-Based

Steps

  1. Log into Venus Control Suite
  2. Open Display Control from the Apps Menu located in the top right of the VCS launchpad page
  3. From the Control Plan landing page, select an existing plan or click Add New or use the search tool to locate an existing plan. See: Venus Display Control: How do I schedule changes for volume, power, brightness etc.

Access Block Properties

The backlight adjustment is done in the Block Properties. Click Edit to add the backlight to an existing block.  
Click Add Block to create a new block.

Setting the Backlight

  1. Click Set Backlight
  2. Adjust the slider to the desired value. 
  3. Click out of the properties to exit.
