FLR5-400: How do I calibrate my display?

  • Calibration is typically needed when a new module is put into an older display.  This ensures brightness levels are even across the display.

Steps

Configuration Menu

  1. Press and hold both the ALT and EDIT* keys until the displays blank and the first menu item appears. For configuration menu navigation help, see: FLR5-400: How do I access and navigate the key fob menu?
  2. Navigate to the Calibration sub menu under Diagnostics.  

Adjust modules

  1. Press the green key to enter Calibration. 
  2. Use the ◁ and ▷ keys to select an individual module that needs brightness calibration.
  3. Press the  key and a test pattern will appear. Use the Plus and Minus keys to increase or decrease the brightness of the selected module to more closely match the brightness of adjacent modules.
  4. Press the  key to save the calibration to the module.
  5. Repeat Steps 2–4 as many times as needed to ensure even brightness levels across all modules in a given display.
