FLR5-400: How do I use diagnostics on my display?

Steps

Configuration Menu

  1. Press and hold both the ALT and EDIT* keys until the displays blank and the first menu item appears. For configuration menu navigation help, see: FLR5-400: How do I access and navigate the key fob menu?
  2. Navigate to the Diagnostics menu. 

Diagnostics Menu

  1. Press  ✓ key to enter Diagnostics.
  2. After entering a sub-menu, use the ◁ and ▷ keys to quickly move back and forth between all sub-menus.
  3. Press ✓ to enter any menu items, Press X to exit. 

The options are listed below:

HW Ver
  • Press ✓  to view the hardware version of each module.
SW Ver
  • Press ✓ to view current software version installed on each module.
Fnt Ver
  • Press ✓ to view current font version installed on each module.
Errors
  • (Reserved for future display diagnostic functions and test patterns)
Temp
  • Press ✓ to view operating temperature of each module in degrees Celsius.
Dsplys
  • Press ✓ to view LED borders around each display as configured in the Configure (p.5) menu.
N_addr
  • Press ✓ to view the addressing of each module within its display.
L_addr
  • Press ✓ to view the addressing of each module within the entire system.
Role
  • Press ✓ to view the hierarchy of display control. Each module will display G (Grandparent), P (Parent), or C (Child).
Sig Dir
  • Press ✓ to view the signal routing. This can be used to detect incorrect input/output connections.
