DakLink: How do I configure Genius/ Sportzcast data feeds

This is for systems without DSTI.  Use to receive and output Sportzcast and TV feeds. 

DakLink (All Sport Communication hub) is a diagnostic tool used to view original GIP Data and mapped TV Feed, Sportzcast data feeds

Steps

Configuring Genius/Sportzcast

Click on the Config button in the top left corner of the communication hub. 
  • Enable Upload: Check to allows your to enable uploading.  
  • Server: The servicer defaults to scorebot.sportzcast.net, but this can be adjusted as needed.  
  • Port: The port defaults to 1402, but this can be adjusted as needed.  
  • Bot Number: The number is provided by Genius/Sportzcast.
  • User Name: The User Name and Password is provided by Genus/Sportzcast.  This is specific for the venue.
Click OK.

This sends something every 2 seconds to keep the connection alive. This can be confirmed by viewing Sportzcast packets counting up in the bottom of the communication hub.
