Data Studio Football: How do I configure the Genius Sports (NCAA) data feed

Environment

Steps
DMP config
- Log into the DMP and select Config (wrench icon) from the left side menu.
- Select Services.
- Verify the Host is set to Venus.daktronics.com.
Venus Displays App
- Log into Venus Control Suite.
- Select Displays app from the My Apps menu.
- Locate the Display that will be connected to the DMP.
- Verify that the DMP is added to the display as a device.
New Data Studio Football Configuration Process for 2024 Season
Add Provider
- Log into Data Studio Football from your Venus Control Suite My Apps Menu.
- Navigate to the Stats Dashboard page. (house icon).
- Under the default provider click ▼ and choose Edit Output from the dropdown.
- Adjust the Title and choose the provider from the dropdown.
- Click Confirm.
Provider Configuration
- Fill in the configuration details.
- Save changes.
Notes
- Need standard name for configuration title.
- There is a lot of alumni stadiums and alumni fields. how do we know what is correct?
- Newer screenshots do not have the venue.
- Outputs seem to be repeated in ux.
Add an output.
There should be a default output preconfigured.
- Navigate to the Outputs page. (monitor icon)
- Click Add New.
- Complete. (need examples)- why do we need to pick the provider by Title and type?
- Save changes.
Connecting Show Control
Verify Display Studio is logged into Venus.daktronics.com.

Legacy Process
The configuration of NCAA Football:
zip file will be sent to site - NCAA Live
Open the appconfig.json
Update details:
Venue ID: Apply the Venue ID (list should be provided)
Match Date: The test date can be moved to 2021-04-17 to verify data. Otherwise this does not need to be changed.
dsAuthURL: This needs to match the url of the data server machine. Change desktop-7qink8:8812 that is in the example shown below.
daUser: dakadmin
dspwd: pa$$word
dsPostAPIUrl: Data Studio Address
environment: either Prod or test
API keys need to be retrieved from Genius Sports
Run
Click on the ncaa.bat
This should verify the connection.
After running for the first time, the feed now should show in Data Studio as Genius NCAA Football.
Verification Methods:
Polling data (verification prior to Data Studio work)
Type in the following paths:
localhost8080/score
View the feeds
Click on the Genius NCAA Football feed.
The api data sources should appear in this list.
