How do I run the Detect Displays function on a DM-100 for Fuel Price displays?

Environment

  • Product: DF-2###, FL-####
  • Component: DM-100
  • Control System: FLD-2000, FLR-500, FLR-1500, FLD3-2000, FLR3-1500, FLXR-3/4

Steps

  • Depending on controller firmware, there are two different processes to follow.
  1. Firmware 4.4 or higher.
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Press the Up or Down arrow buttons until the LCD display shows "Diagnostics Menu", then press Enter.
    3. Press the Up or Down arrow buttons until the LCD display shows "Detect Displays", then press Enter.
    4. LCD may show "Setup saved. Clear and detect?" and/or "Are you sure?" 
      1. Press Enter twice if needed to continue.
    5. The DM-100 will now attempt to detect and connected displays.
    6. Once it is done, press Clear until you are back to where you can change prices.
  2. Firmware 4.3 or lower.
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Press the Up or Down arrow buttons until the LCD display shows "Detect Displays", then press Enter.
    3. LCD may show "Configuration saved, Ent to clear" and/or "Are you sure?" press Enter to continue.
    4. The DM-100 will now attempt to detect and connected displays.
    5. Once it is done, press Clear until you are back to where you can change prices.
