Venus Media Library: How do I upload a zip file of media / HTML Support

How do upload a ZIP file of media for my media library?

Environment

  • Product: Venus Control Suite Apps
  • Components: DWP version 1.210908.1 or later 
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS)
HTML support allows uploading ZIP files to the media library. 

Steps

Add the file to media library
  1. Select the Media tab from the Main Menu.

 

 

  1. Select the blue Add New button.  Navigate and select the ZIP file to upload. .
  2. Once file is in the upload list, wait for a green checkmark to ensure a successful upload and then click Next

    File associations
    1. Enter in a new tag by typing it in the "Add new tag" field and clicking the plus sign or click on an existing tag from the list below to highlight it blue.  After entering in a new tag or choosing from an existing tag click Done.
    2. Select an Account to associate with the media.
    3. In Scheduling, the ZIP file can be added.

      HTML support requires the correct permissions.  If you receive an error when trying to upload a ZIP file, you might not have the correct permissions. 2021-09-07_13-58-36.jpg
