Data Studio: How do I configure data trimming in Venus Control Suite?

Steps

Log into Venus Control Suite and open the Data Studio App.  

Use the arrows to expand or collapse each section. 

Data Trimming for Web Data Sources

Create a new source as directed in: Data Studio: How do I set up a RSS or data feed in Venus Control Suite?

Data Studio: How do I configure web data sources?

  1. Under Configure Web Data Source, pick Data Feed Trimming. 
  2. Select Properties.

  1. From the hierarchy list, pick the items you want to use in your content.

  1. Click Done. 
  2. Verify that the web source is enabled. (Note, the amount of enabled web data sources that can be enabled at one time depends on your package level.)
  3. Save the Web Data Source.  
Data Trimming for Cloud Drive Sources

Create a new source as directed in: Data Studio: How do I integrate with a cloud drive data source.

  1.  Navigate to the Configure Cloud Drive Data Source page.
  2. Click on the + on the Feeds tile. The sliding menu will appear from the right side.

  1. From the hierarchy list, pick the items you want to use in your content.
  2. Verify that the web source is enabled. (Note, the amount of enabled web data sources that can be enabled at one time depends on your package level.)
  3. Save the Data Source.
