FL-3000/4500: How to line map, using DM-100

  • Component: Configuration
  • Control System: DM-100 handheld controlled (FLR3-1500, FLXR, FLD3-2000 kits)

Steps

Note: The menus have change slightly between the different revisions of the DM-100.  Below will have directions for the different menus.

  • DM-100 - DD-2256160 (3.0 or higher).  (This is displayed on the boot up of the handheld).  Check out the operational video for this revision! --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQGgEFwHrd0&list=UUUNHaqkIkaRkxN7KrpfjL_Q.
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to Display Menu and press Enter.
    3. Select Configuration and press Enter.
    4. Select Line Mapping and press Enter.
    5. NOTE - If site is using multiple networks, the next option will be to select network. Use the up and down arrows to select the network that is being line mapped and press Enter.
    6. Select address 00 and press Enter to edit the line number.
    7. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to the line number for that display and press Enter. (Selected line will be fading in and out on display.)
    8. If line mapping multiple displays, use the up and down arrows to scroll to the next address and press Enter. (Addresses will go in order starting with 00, 01, 02, 03 for like Walmart sites if line to line cables are inverted in display they will address 00, 60, 61, etc.).
    9. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to the line number for that display and press Enter.
    10. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all displays have been line mapped.
    11. Once all displays have been line mapped, press Clear.
    12. DM-100 will display updating displays, then detecting the displays and sending configuration.
    13. After the DM-100 sends the configuration, press Clear until back at the main screen.

 

  • DM-100 - DD-2256160 (2.2 or lower).  (This is displayed on the boot up of the handheld).
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to Configuration and press Enter.
    3. Select Line Mapping and press Enter.
    4. Select network 1 and press Enter. (NOTE -If site is using multiple networks, the next option will be to select network. Use the up and down arrows to select the network that is being line mapped and press Enter).
    5. Select address 00 and press Enter to edit the line number.
    6. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to the line number for that display and press Enter. (Selected line will be fading in and out on display.)
    7. If line mapping multiple displays, use the up and down arrows to scroll to the next address and press Enter. (Addresses will go in order starting with 00, 01, 02, etc., if line to line cables are inverted in display they will address 00, 60, 61, etc.).
    8. Using the arrow buttons, scroll to the line number for that display and press Enter.

    10. Once all displays have been line mapped, press Clear.
