Steps
Step 1: Follow the Standard Settings for All Software Types:
- 72 dpi (dots per inch).
- Height and Width of the Display in Pixels (ex: 32x112 = 32x112 pixels), do not use inches or feet.
- Venus 1500 and Display Studio: It is recommended to not use images any more than 2 or 3 times the size of the display for Venus 1500 or Show Control.
- RGB 8 Bit Color Mode.
Step 2: Create files in the supported file type depending on Software Type.
Venus 1500 V3 and V4:
- JPG/JPEG (Recommended)
- GIF (Note: Only Venus 1500 V3 support Animated GIF files)
- PNG (Note: Only M4 - GPR, GP3, GP4 - display types support transparent PNG files)
- BMP
- TIF/TIFF
- PSD (Flattened single layer support only)
Display Studio:
- JPG/JPEG (Recommended)
- GIF (Note: Only Venus 1500 V3 support Animated GIF files)
- PNG (Note: Only M4 (GRP, GP3, GPR) display types support transparent PNG files)
- BMP
- TIF/TIFF
- PSD (Venus 1500 V4 Only - Flattened single layer support only)
