Venus Sales: How does the sales adgrid rotation work in Venus?

The Venus AdGrid works on a block or slot level. Each slot designates a rotation of content.  The number of rotations that a display or group of displays is determined by the display configuration.  The default is often 8 slots or rotations.

  • Product: Venus Professional, Venus Enterprise
  • Components: Venus Pro AdGrid, Venus Pro Playlist
  • Control System: Venus Cloud-Based

Steps

The arrangement of sales transactions in the AdGrid directs the playback order of an Accounts playlists within a rotation. A sales transaction for a slot represents an ad spot for a particular account.

Ad grids allow for exposure or percentage-based scheduling.

Percentage based or exposure based (single slot) adgrid

Configure for 1 Adgrid slot.  Instructions: Venus Scheduling: How to Add/Remove AdGrid Slots in Venus Control Suite.

It's important to note that a single slot or one slot configuration does not permit the arrangement of advertisers in a specific sequence. This is only achievable with a multi-slot configuration when all slots are fully sold.
