Steps
Navigate to code compliance in Venus Displays App.
It is recommended to set your display to Automatic for brightness controls. All displays come with a photo sensor that measures the amount of light, depending on night, day and/or overcast.
- Log into Venus Control Suite. See: Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
- Open Venus Displays App from the Apps Menu located in the top right of the VCS landing page.
- Click on an existing display to Edit.
- Click on the Code Compliance tab.
Set brightness mode
The brightness control is under the Brightness section.
- Select the Brightness tile. A slide out menu will appear.
- Pick the desired brightness mode from the dropdown menu.
- Save changes.
Brightness Controllers for 6000 processors.
Dimming managers should be added under the Venus Displays app.
- Navigate to the Venus Displays App > choose the display > select the Code Compliance tab.
- Click on the + to add Dimming managers.

- Name: Display Name (Match Control Riser Drawings)
- Targeted Outputs: Select any Prolink or VMAX cards associated with that display. (NOTE: Each card may only be associated with one dimming manager)
- Mode: TBD

- Once associated, Venus saves a copy of configuration. Once associated, any changes need to be made in Venus.
- Venus does NOT sync back with the device.
Changing the dimming to mode
- Navigate to the Venus Displays App > choose the display > select the Code Compliance tab.
- Click on the Dimming manager.
- From the right side slide out menu, select Manual or Automatic for your dimming mode.
