How to upload files to Dakfiles FTP site

Topic

  • I was instructed to load some files / pictures / or videos to a dakfiles. How do I do that?
  • Does Daktronics have a drop box for larger files?
  • How to load vanguard database to be updated or to have the password reset.

Steps

  1. Go to https://dakfiles.daktronics.com:4443/login.html in an Internet browser
  2. Enter the “Transportation” for the account and leave password blank NOTE: This generic account only has file upload permissions and cannot view the contents of files or delete files.

  3. Click the “File Upload” button.  ​
  4. If using the “Simple upload” dialog. browse for a file, upload, and repeat for each desired file.

  5. If using the “Standard upload” dialog, browse for all desired files and then upload. ​​​​​
