VIP-4060 / VIP-5060: How to Manually Dim a Display

Steps

  1. From your Display Studio computer, open Internet Explorer.
  2. On your favorites bar, you should have a shortcut for your VIP 4060/5060. Click on that shortcut.
    1. If you do not have a favorite on that bar, navigate to the 4060/5060 by typing in the IP address, followed by the proper port for DMP-5x60 into the navigation bar in Internet Explorer.

  3. Once the page opens click "Log In." If you need help with logging in, contact the Daktronics Helpdesk at 
    1-800-325-8766.
    • If the username and password are not already saved, please contact the Daktronics Helpdesk at 1-800-325-8766 to request the username and password.
    • For 5060's, you will get a separate login in window that pops up over the web interface page.
    • Click OK

  4. On the next screen, in the bottom right corner of the main screen, set the dimming mode to Manual.
  5. Once the drop down is on Manual, adjust the slider to the desired level. Wait a few seconds for the change to appear on the display after each adjustment.
