Steps
Method 1: Reconfiguring locally using a flash drive.
- Insert the flash drive into J3 on the back of the correctly configured VFC to copy its config file.
- Login to the VFC.
- Selected Shared.
- Select Backup.
- Select Export.
- Wait for it to finish.
- Insert the flash drive into the VFC to be configured.
- Login to the VFC.
- Select Shared.
- Select Backup.
- Select Import.
- Select the BIN file.
- Wait for it to finish.
- Login to the VFC.
- View the peripherals screen and wait for them to report correctly.
- View the version info screen to verify the modules and display interface are reporting correctly.
- Run a test pattern or a test message to verify the sign is displaying correctly.
Method 2: Reconfiguring from the webpage interface.
- This step can be done remote if the VFC's IP is known.
- Start with the correctly configured VFC.
- Log into the DMP web interface of the VFC.
- For assistance accessing the DMP web interface, contact Daktronics Technical Support.
- Select system backup from the column on the left.
- Select create system backup.
- Log into the DMP web interface of the VFC to be configured.
- Select system backup from the column on the left
- Select restore system backup.
- Select the ZIP folder that was created from the correctly configured VFC.
- Wait for the web interface to reload.
- Log into the car icon from the column on the left.
- Enter the Username: (this is sensitive information, contact technical support)
- Enter the Password: (this is sensitive information, contact technical support)
- View the peripherals screen and wait for them to report correctly.
- View the version info screen to verify modules and display interface are reporting correctly.
- Run a test pattern or a test message to verify the sign is displaying correctly.
