Steps
- Log into Venus Control Suite Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
- Select Scheduling from the My Apps menu.

To Edit Properties
For details on creating a new playlist or finding an existing, see Venus Scheduling: How do I schedule content in Venus Control Suite?
Click on the Playlist information tile and the Playlist Properties will slide-out from the right side.
From Playlist Properties, adjust the name, dates, ranges and modes for the playlist.
- Add a descriptive name to the playlist.
- Select Active or Inactive for the playlist state.
- Select Exclusive or off if this is not needed. Venus Scheduling: How do I use an exclusive playlist?
- Set the timing.
- Pick an Initial Start Date. You may also pick an end date if desired.
- Select which days of the week you would like the playlist to run.
- Under the Daily Time range put it as 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM to ensure you can day part the content.
- Select the Playlist Mode. This is something to consider if you have multiple active playlists.
- Add tags to the playlist by entering a title and clicking +.
Click on the X in the top right corner to close the slide-out.
To Edit Media Files
- Click Edit under Playlist Files.
- Add files from Media Library into Playlist Files and click Save.
- Click on the first piece of content and a new window will open.
- Click on Date Range to select a date for the individual piece of content.
- Click on Days of Week to set to play for specific days of week for the individual piece of content.
- Click on Time Range to change the time range for the individual piece of content.
- Click Save.
Repeat steps on the other pieces of content to day-part them.
Assign displays to playlist
- Click + next to Displays to select the displays the new playlist will appear on.
- A right side-out should appear that lists your account's displays.
- Select the displays. A check mark identifies which display(s) you have selected and generates a list under the Displays tile.
- Click on the X in the top right corner to close the slide-out.
Saving a playlist
- Select either Save or Save As from the drop-down menu.
2. If you selected Save As, enter a new title for the Playlist.
