Sarah Rose serves as Vice President of Global Services, leading the global technical services and professional services teams. She ensures that these teams are fully equipped to deliver an outstanding experience for customers, fostering a learning approach both internally and externally.
Previously, she managed the service teams for large sports venues, rental and staging, and the international markets. She was instrumental in improving and standardizing global service processes, using a customer-centric approach.
Throughout her career, Sarah has focused on supporting customers whose systems are mission-critical to their operations, leading teams that help customers maximize their investment, ensuring their smooth and efficient installation, integration, operation, and production.
Sarah has experience working with customers in all five business units of Daktronics: Commercial, Live Events, High School Park and Recreation, Transportation, and International. She had the opportunity to work with nearly every professional sports customer in North America, and she traveled to help customers and employees in nearly every state in the US and every continent except Antarctica.
An educator by training, Sarah started her career at Daktronics training customers to use control systems to achieve their visions, developing a deep understanding of how customers use their equipment. She collaborated with the engineering teams as they developed products, led professional services teams to provide technical, creative, and operational support for customers, and trained many teams how to create a positive customer experience.
Sarah serves on the advisory board for the Service Council, which fosters best practices in services focused businesses. Sarah is a champion for inclusion, serving as an active leader in Daktronics Inclusion Journey and on the diversity and inclusion board for IDEA, the premier association for professionals in the large-screen, event, and in-game entertainment industry. She volunteers as an instructor for Junior Achievement of South Dakota and has served on many boards and committees in her community.
She puts her faith first, and she enjoys spending time with her family, competing in rodeos, and pursuing creative activities, including photography and design. She is also a published author and speaker.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in education from South Dakota State University, and a master’s in business administration from Western Governors University.
