What is new for Professional Baseball in 2016?

Opening Day is fast approaching and Daktronics Baseball Software is now ready for the 2016 Season.

Here are some new features to expect for the baseball season:

DSTI- Guest Lineup Bitmap

DakStats Auto Advance

Baseball Simulator

This application is a new option for baseball teams that do not require all the stats that DakStats Baseball outputs, but want something more than the All Sport’s in-game information.

The Baseball Simulator has player lineups, due ups, bitmap, and AVG, HR, RBI. It will export around 90 fields on the same output typically reserved for DakStats Baseball.

Stat Cast Interface (MLB only)

This was first mentioned in MLB: Stat Cast Signal Flow

For the 2016 season, changes are being implemented by the league that will require the use of Stat Cast to feed Daktronics systems for critical items such as pitch speed and pitch type. Because this is a major change for most MLB users, we will publish more posts in the future pertaining to these changes.
