Experience New Technology at Rivers Casino Portsmouth

For those of you that like to hit up a casino or watch live sports on a larger-than-life screen at a sportsbook, you should check out this new installation we just completed at Rivers Casino Portsmouth!

From the moment you arrive to the time you sit down for a live performance, sporting event or at your favorite game, you’ll be informed and entertained with LED technology.

What’s outside?

It all starts when you come within viewing distance of the building with a double-sided marquee standing tall by the roadway to welcome you to the casino. It’s hard to miss as the display is reaches 18 feet high by 11 feet wide. 

Then once you see the building, you’ll notice two 90-degree corner displays – one on the east corner and one on the southeast corner. Following the building’s architecture, these will catch your eye and have the ability to share some pretty amazing content.

And we can’t forget the huge marquee above The Event Center entrance that measures 14.5 feet high by 37 feet wide to connect with audiences and let them know they’re in the right place.

The experience continues with a ticker display mounted to the building’s façade and then features a nice greeting when you pull up to the porte-cochère to get your car parked. These allow for additional messaging to let you know about specials, upcoming live events and other details about the casino that day.

Let’s check out the inside!

All of this and we haven’t even stepped a foot inside! This is where things go up a notch. A massive 65-foot-wide video wall welcomes sports enthusiasts to the BetRivers sportsbook. The display is 12 feet high and can share all the live action and betting odds anyone could need.

Then, when you head to the bar, it’s surrounded with a ticker display right above your head. It’s about 1 foot tall by 107 feet long and it lets you know what games are going on, the scores and which games are coming up, start times and much more. You’re sure to know what’s going on all around with this many displays all around you!

Finally, you can step on over to The Sound Bar where the stage is backed by an 8-foot-high by 26-foot-wide video display. It’s narrow pixel pitch, direct-view technology that allows for up-close viewing, much like the main sportsbook display. Only this display is in an area dedicated to live music, comedians and other live entertainment that people are sure to enjoy at Rivers Casino Portsmouth.
